Hello

Not sure if this the right forum but i will ask anyway.

My car has a few scuffs & scratches & i would like to know if anyone can recommend a good bodyshop in the Wirral. Also has anyone tried one of the SMART car repair franchises like Chips Away.

    I have had chipsway repair key scratches (car had been keyed) on 3 seperate occasions, and I am pleased with the job. Its impossible to see where the scratches were. I would recommned them, but they arent the cheapest.

    I would ask them to come out and give you a quote, that way you can get an idea of what it might cost.

    Depending on how bad the scratches & scuffs are it may be possible for a valeter to machine polish them out, a cheaper option to re-spraying. Look for valeters in your area that offer a machine polishing service.

    How bad are the scratches? you may find that they can be polished out, a company near you I would look at would be monza car care/ off your marks. they are car detailers, which is high end car cleaning and paint polishing by machine. their work is excellent.

    Chips away? they re not necessarily the cheapest of ways to get repairs done let them quote but also let a body shop quote too they will probably be cheaper. Only use a body shop on recommendation.
