Hi there
I wondered if anyone could give me some advice on how to save money on our phone bill and broadband costs.
Currently i am with BT
My last quarterly bill stated
cost of calls = 54.04
benefits -3.85
rental charges 40.71
vat = 15.91
total = 106.81
brought forward 82.95
payments 109.50
debit balance 80.26
i think it is BT Together option 2 with free evening and weekend calls friends and family i pay direct debit of 36.50 per month
also i pay 14.99 per month for broadband with AOL

You could try Utility Warehouse for their broadcall offer. From £19.99 per month includes line rental,BB,free weekend calls.Also if you take gas and electric that will give you free uk calls all the time(not including non-geo's and mobiles)but there is an option of reducing the cost of calls to mobiles for £1.50 per month,gives a 25% discount.
Your first post worked out around £160 for the quarter(including BB)if LLU is available in your area your cost could be around £65 per quarter plus the mobile and non geo costs.
Hope that helps.

WARNING.
This poster still blatantly continues to promote UW products missing out the monthly membership fee , and plugging he is a distributor,and use this sites home page facility to point direct at his personal UW site despite the fact he recently said in another thread " i do not want to promote my biz on this site "0 -
Oh dont forget to add the £5.28 quarterly membership fee,,ooo that puts it above £70. Still a huge saving. If you did decide to join UW please go to their main site as a should hate to pick up a customer from this site.
I have helped the man find an alternative supplier,thats all.Making a saving with the UW to which he might not have known,Remember this site is for helping others you know.I make it plain i am a distributor in my sig which is the rules of this forum.
Hope that helps.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE Forum Team0 -
A uw rep continually contributing to a thead to advertise is hardly within the rules or spirit of this board.
How many free bites at this cherry do you want?
You pledged elswhere on this board that you didn't come here advertising, and to prove it would remove any references to your company from your posts:my sig has been removed as i do not want to promote my biz on this site
As we see, that was simply untrue!0
