Terms & Conditions for Samsung Soul Pink Promotion

This promotion (the "Promotion") is a free prize draw. No purchase or fee is necessary to enter this Promotion, see paragraph 15 below for details.
To enter this Promotion, you must, having signed in as a Samsung Fun Club member at https://www.samsungmobile.co.uk, either confirm the details of your Samsung mobile phone handset or add details of your Samsung mobile phone handset at https://www.samsungmobile.co.uk between the 17th July 2008 and 11.59pm on the 1st August 2008 (the "Closing Date") inclusive. Only one entry is permitted per person in this Promotion.
There will be one prize draw which will be held on 05/08/2008. The Promoter, acting reasonably, reserves the right to delay the timing of the prize draw.
The prize draw will be supervised by an independent person.
The winners will be chosen at random by a computer from the entries received before the Closing Date.
The winner of the first prize will receive a London Glamour Day for them and two friends. Runners up will receive one of 50 (fifty) mini manicures. Further details available on request.
The Promoter, or any agency acting on its behalf, will notify the winners within 7 days of the date of the prize draw by e-mail directed to the e-mail address specified in the winner's Samsung Fun Club membership profile. The Promoter reserves the right to contact the winners by post in the alternative, should it have access to the e-mail or postal address details of the winning entrants. Winners must confirm receipt of the email they receive from the Promoter, or agency acting on its behalf, informing them that they are a winner by sending a reply by email (either confirming their postal address or giving an alternative postal address for posting in the UK) to the email address from which the notification e-mail was received by 12/08/2008 or such later date as is notified to them by the Promoter (being not less than 7 days after the date of the prize draw). In the event that a winner does not respond in the manner set out herein, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify such winner and randomly select by computer a replacement winner from the eligible entrants. In such circumstances, the replacement winner shall be contacted by email as soon as reasonably practicable and shall be required to respond in the manner set out in such email. In the event that the replacement winner fails to respond as required then the provisions of this clause shall apply to that new winner in the same way as if they were an original winner.
The prizes will be sent by post to the UK address given by the winners. Please allow 21 days for delivery.
Entrants in this Promotion must be over the age of 16 and UK resident. Entries must not be made through agents or third parties
The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age, and other relevant details of an entrant.
No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of similar value in the event that all or part of a prize is unavailable. The prizes are non-transferable.
The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into by the Promoter in respect of the results. Any appeal against the Promoter's decision is of no effect.
The Promoter reserves the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary the terms and conditions of this Promotion at any time.
By entering this Promotion you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Any breach of these terms and conditions may, at the Promoter's absolute discretion, result in forfeiture of any prize.
No purchase necessary. For an equal chance of winning, particularly if the mobile handset, the details of which you would like to confirm or add at https://www.samsungmobile.co.uk, is not a Samsung handset, please send your full name, address, e-mail address and mobile telephone number on a postcard or a piece of paper (placed in an envelope) to: Samsung Fun Club Camera Promotion Samsung House, 1000 Hillswood Drive Chertsey, Surrey KT16 0PS All entries must be received by midnight on the Closing Date.
Employees or agents of the Promoter or any of its group companies and their immediate relatives, families or households or anyone professionally connected to this Promotion are not eligible to enter.
Only one prize per household. Entrants from the same home address may not win more than once. In the event that an entrant from the same household as a previous winner is drawn as a winner then the subsequent member of the household drawn shall be disqualified and another entrant will be randomly drawn from the entries as a replacement winner.
The Promoter shall not be responsible for lost, misdirected, illegible, late, mutilated or altered entries.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter's control.
The names and towns of residence of the winners will be available after 12/08/2008 or, should the prize draw be delayed, the day following the date of the delayed prize draw by written request to Rough Guides, Samsung Electronics (UK) Limited, Samsung House, 1000 Hillswood Drive, Chertsey, Surrey KT16 0PS. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the names and towns of residence of the winners at https://www.samsungmobile.co.uk or wap.uk.samsungmobile.com. The winners may be required to take part in publicity and, by entering the Promotion, consent to such publicity.
The Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify entries which it considers do not comply with these terms and conditions or any entrant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion and/or the results thereof.
This Promotion is governed by English law.
