    Answer to question 5:

    Answer is NINE not five.

With a 150hp tractor powering the mixer the tractor's 300 litre fuel tank was lasting just five days. At 68ppl that's a cost of £40.80/day.
“We've weren't happy with the performance and eventually moved on to a Keenan 280 (the company's largest UK model). With a 28 cubic metre capacity we can now manage on five mixes a day and, importantly, it can handle long chop silage and fresh grass without losing the long fibre we want.” “Feed out time has halved and so has fuel use. We can now manage nine days between refuelling and we have now moved to using a lower horse-powered tractor.”
