well lets hope so.

I disagree with their views on 0871 and 0844, they all should be removed to 09 IMHO

Nice one unnaturalblonde and dc for raising this. I too am against these 0870/0845 numbers - it just seems plain wrong that these numbers are charged up to EIGHT times more compared with calling a regular geographic number (even higher when calling from mobiles!!!).

On the surface, Ofcom's proposals to restore 0870s to geographic rates sound good. Look a bit closer and they plan to delay this until 12 months after the consultation reports so we're looking at spring 2007 at the earliest!! Worse still, they plan to leave 0845s alone completely so there's a strong possibility of companies migrating t0 0845/0844. Back to square one??? :mad:

All we can do is encourage as many people as possible to have their say on the matter. I've discovered the publics responses so far (around 200!!) are here....

You'll see how many others are dissatisfied with the 0870 rip-off. We are not alone on the subject.....
