Best card for internet shopping

I buy quite a lot of items over the internet - maybe £5,000 over a year - anything from small items <£5 up to £500 items.
I currently use my main CC but have a niggling concern over the potential for "bad sales". Nothing's gone wrong so far but I guess it is only a matter of time.
Balance transfers and APRs etc isn't a concern as I use my CCs as debit cards and pay the balance off in full every month. What I am interested to know is whether any particular cards offer greater protection than others against internet purchase failures and fraud?
Thanks

I imagine that all cards will offer the same levels of protection.0

Some CCs (I know Barclaycard, HSBC and A&L) offer now extra protection for using their cards for online purchases.
The following information is from Barclaycard website:
Barclaycard Secure, provided in association with "Verified by Visa" and "MasterCard SecureCode", protects your card against unauthorised use when you shop online at participating retailers.
If you make a purchase in a shop, you enter a PIN number or sign a receipt to validate the transaction. Barclaycard Secure mimics this process over the Internet by providing a digital receipt that you sign off with your own personal password.0
