Limited Edition Nokia N96 / Face The Task Contest

The Official Rules

Before participating please read through and accept these Official Rules, the Privacy Policy and the Site Terms. If you do not accept them you are not eligible to participate.

ELIGIBILITY

The Limited Edition Nokia N96 / Face The Task Contest (the "Contest"), brought to you by Nokia Corporation, Espoo, Finland, (the "Sponsor") will be governed by these rules (the "Official Rules"). In order to be eligible to participate you must be at least 15 years of age or of the legal age in your country of residence. No purchase is necessary. The Contest is open to participants/contestants' ("Participants") worldwide.

Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates and agents reserve the right, at any time, to verify eligibility requirements, in any manner it deems appropriate. Employees and directors of Sponsor and its licensees, advertising, promotion or production agencies and provider companies (and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members (spouse, children, parents, siblings) and individuals residing in their same household) are not eligible to participate. By participating Participants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest.

The Contest is void wherever prohibited or restricted by any mandatory national, state or other government laws in a form and language as provided herein and is subject to all applicable mandatory federal (national), state and local laws.

Participants are only eligible to compete in the Contest if they reside in a country that is included in the dropdown list on the competition entry page.

PROGRAM PERIOD

The Contest begins on July 7, 2008, 12:00 pm GMT and ends on August 1, 2008, 00:00 am GMT (the "Program Period"). www.FaceTheTask.com (the "Site") is the official time keeping device for the Program Period.

HOW TO COMPETE

Participants register on the Site. Participants must answer the question presented, and registration is complete upon accepting these Official Rules, along with the Participant's entry of name, date of birth, e-mail address and country.

In order to access the Site, you must have access to the World Wide Web (internet) provided by an Internet Service Provider ("ISP") of your choosing and you must pay any applicable ISP, operator, service and other fees for such access. Any registration that, in the sole discretion of Sponsor, is considered inappropriate or unsuitable for publication will be deemed ineligible by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to invalidate all registrations in any manner it deems appropriate. Registrations that are found to be irregular (as solely determined by the Sponsor) will cause those registrations to be deemed void and the Participant to be disqualified.

THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY YOU

The information submitted by you will only be used by Sponsor, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and the Privacy Policy of the Site, for the purposes of administrating your participation in the Contest. The information collected will be erased after the end of the Program Period. Sponsor will not transfer or disclose the information submitted by you to any third parties.

By participating in the Contest and submitting your name, date of birth, e-mail address and country ("Personal Information") you expressly accept, and give your unambiguous consent to that your Personal Information collected in connection with your use of the Site and participation in the Contest may be transferred across international borders to server locations supporting the Site (including but not limited to transfers from those locations back to the country of your registration) for the purposes of administrating your participation in the Contest and for the purposes of storing the Personal Information submitted by you in the relevant database during the Program Period which may be located in Finland.

You have the right at any time during the Program Period to review, correct or remove the Personal Information submitted by you following what is said in the Site's Privacy Policy.

PRIZES

5 (five) limited edition Nokia N96 multimedia computers ("Prize") to be received by 5 (five) winning Participants. Each Prize is equivalent to the value of 800.00 EUR.

The Prizes will be delivered duty paid, any other taxes, if any, related to the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Prizes cannot be assigned, transferred, redeemed for cash, or substituted except by Sponsor who may, at its sole discretion, substitute any Prize with one of comparable value if the advertised Prize becomes unavailable for any reason.

DETERMINATION OF THE WINNER

The winning Participants will be randomly selected from the Participants who have answered correctly to the multiple-choice question. Selection will be made by a jury consisting of representatives from the Sponsor. The jury's decision is final and cannot be contested.

Winner will be notified by mail, email, or telephone by [August 18, 2008] to the address and/or phone number provided by winner upon registration as a Participant in the Contest. An email notifying winner of his/her Prize will include a request for his/her preferred mailing address. Winner must respond with his/her preferred mailing address by [August 20, 2008] failing which the winner shall forfeit the Prize. In the event of such forfeiture, Sponsor shall select another winner based on the selection criteria above or dispose of the Prize in any way it deems fit. The Prize shall be delivered to the winner at the address provided by the winner. Such delivery may be by courier service, postal service or other means as determined solely by Sponsor. Sponsor shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) in the delivery of the Prize to the winner.

GENERAL RULES

Participation constitutes a consent (a) to comply with these Official Rules, the Site Terms of the Site and the Privacy Policy, and (b) that Participant release and hold harmless Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, including death, loss or damage of any kind arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any Prize or participation in the Contest or any Contest related activities. If a winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules the winner's Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

RIGHT TO USE ANY SUBMITTED CONTENT

By submitting, and upon such submission of, any information or materials such as (but not limited to) feedback, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, likeness, graphics, video, messages, voice, answers, questions, comments, suggestions, scores, hints, strategies, concepts, designs, ideas, plans, orders, requests or the like, or any other material (the "Content") to Sponsor or through the Site, for example, by e-mail, SMS, and/or MMS, you license and grant to Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free and free of charge, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and fully sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, copy, modify, adapt, communicate to the public, make available, publish, translate, make and have made derivative works of, distribute, and display such Content or any concept described in it throughout the world in any media, product and/service, including, without limitation, game decks, games, consoles, wireless devices, mobile phones and any related products, services and accessories, advertising, marketing and promotional materials, and digital reproductions, without compensation, restrictions on use, acknowledgement of source, accountability or liability, and with waiver of all moral rights and rights of attribution, integrity and identity to the extent permitted by mandatory laws.

With regard to such Content submissions, you understand and agree that you are solely and fully responsible for any and all aspects of the Content submitted, including but not limited to its legality, appropriateness and non-infringement of third party intellectual property rights, and Sponsor shall not be liable in any way for such Content. Sponsor shall have no obligation to monitor any of the Content provided by you to Sponsor, but may do so at its discretion.

RULES FOR CONTENT SUBMISSIONS

With regard to the Content submissions, you understand and agree that you are solely and fully respon-sible for any and all aspects of the Content submitted, including but not limited to its legality, appropriateness and non-infringement of third party intellectual property rights, and the Sponsor shall not be liable in any way for such Content.

Further, with regard to any and all Content submissions, you agree that:

(a) you will not post, publish, transmit, distribute, or upload any information through the Site or Contest that is unlawful or fraudulent, or violates or infringes any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret or any other proprietary intellectual property rights of others. In connection therewith you represent and warrant to the Sponsor that your content does not infringe the trademarks, copyrights, patents, or other intellectual property rights of any third parties;

(b) the Content will not contain any material that is unlawful, libelous, slanderous, defamatory or invasive of another person's right of privacy or right of publicity, or that the Sponsor may reasonably deem harmful, vulgar, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, objectionable with respect to race, religion, creed, national origin or gender, or otherwise unfit for publication;

(c) the Content will not promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous nor will it defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about Nokia or its products, or other people, products or companies

(d) you will not send any such messages to any other user or the Sponsor that contain vulgar, abusive or otherwise inappropriate language or images;

(e) you will not disrupt the flow of discussion with vulgar, abusive or otherwise inappropriate language, or by other means, including without limitation hitting the return key repeatedly or posting repetitive text;

(f) you will not, without first using reasonable efforts to scan and remove any viruses or any contaminating or destructive features before submitting any Content to the Site(s) and Contest, post, publish, transmit, distribute, or upload any information through the Site(s) or Contest that contains a virus, Trojan horse, "sniffer" routines, backdoors, worms, time bombs, bots, or any other harmful software code, file, program or programming routine, or other contaminating or destructive features;

(g) you will not use the Site to "stalk" or harass another person and your Content and use will not sug-gest or encourage to any illegal activity;

(h) your use of the Site will not compromise the security or integrity of the Sponsor's computer systems, networks or web site(s) or servers, whether by allowing intruders into the same, introducing viruses or other threats, imposing a disproportionate or unreasonably large load on this Site or its infrastructure, or using any computer programming routine, file or device to damage or interfere with the operation of the Site;

(i) you will not register with or otherwise use a false name, identity or e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, including without limitation the Sponsor or its licensors' personnel, falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity, use another user's password (if applicable), forge headers or otherwise manipulate identification information to falsify or disguise the origin of any Content, or falsify or misrepresent any Content with respect to submissions to the Site, and

(j) you will follow all applicable laws and regulations applicable to your use of the Site and/or Content submission. Such laws and regulations include, without limitation, those governing copyright, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others' computer or communication systems.

Additionally, you agree that you will use good judgment and exercise discretion in choosing appropriate subjects and subject matter for any photo or video submissions to the Site(s) or Contest. Remember that privacy laws may protect individuals with respect to their being photographed or videotaped, so please respect the privacy of others by asking for and obtaining their consent to be photographed or videotaped, as well as for your submissions of photos or videos to the Site and Contest.

INTERNET

Neither Sponsor nor its subsidiaries, affiliates or agencies are responsible for lost, late, misdirected, unintelligible, interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, ISP, website, telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture any such information. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and disqualify any entrant using such methods. Sponsor is not responsible for injury or damage to Participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Contest or downloading materials from or use of the website. Should any portion of the Contest be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, technical failures or other causes which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest, and select the winner from entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, and assumes no responsibility for any error, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized use of the Site or other applicable sites.

MISCELLANEOUS

These Limited Edition Nokia N96 / Face The Task Contest Official Rules are governed by the laws of Finland.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to amend, withdraw or revise these Official Rules and the Prizes at any time without notice and in such event Sponsor shall not have any liability whatsoever.

You acknowledge and agree that you must conduct yourself in a mature and decent manner to other Participants, chat room spectators, and Sponsor. You acknowledge and agree that Sponsor is permitted to automatically disqualify any Participant that is acting in an unreasonable manner (to be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of Sponsor on a case by case basis).

You acknowledge and agree that no form of cheating will be tolerated. Any persons found cheating, as determined in the sole and absolute discretion of Sponsor, will immediately be disqualified from the Contest. Cheating includes, but is not limited to, tampering, hacking of website, entering the Contest without meeting the eligibility requirements, using any automated software or device to gain an advantage during the Contest, using any cheat codes, exploiting any software bugs, use of the Contest beyond the defined rules of the Contest, attempting to disable or overwhelm any of the Sponsor sites, attempts to disrupt any portion of the Contest, including but not limited to, allowing somebody else to use your Personal Information tampering with entry process or operation of promotion or website.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY OF THE SPONSOR SITES OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE LIMITED EDITION NOKIA N96 / FACE THE TASK CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLA-TION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS; AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

You furthermore agree that your use of the Site will not compromise the security or integrity of the Sponsor's computer systems, networks or web site(s) or servers, whether by allowing intruders into the same, introducing viruses or other threats, imposing a disproportionate or unreasonably large load on this Site or its infrastructure, or using any computer programming routine, file or device to damage or interfere with the operation of the Site; neither will you register with or otherwise use a false name, identity or e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, including without limitation the Sponsor or its licensors' personnel, falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity, use another user's password (if applicable), forge headers or otherwise manipulate identification information to falsify or disguise the origin of any information, or falsify or misrepresent any information with respect to submissions to the Site, and that you will follow all applicable laws and regulations applicable to your use of the Site.You acknowledge and agree that all disputes in relation to the Contest including but not limited to, scoring, placing, eligibility, cheating, advancement and any other issue related to the Limited Edition Nokia N96 / Face The Task shall be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of Sponsor, and that such a decision by the site operators or event officials shall be final and binding.

GAME OF SKILL

You acknowledge and agree that the Limited Edition Nokia N96 / Face The Task Contest is one of skill not chance.
