From acclaimed director Michael Apted (Rome, The World is Not Enough), HBO Video presents an adaptation of best-selling author Walter Mosley’s ALWAYS OUTNUMBERED, ALWAYS OUTGUNNED, released to own on DVD on 7 July 2008.

Winner of the Silver Spire at the San Francisco International Film Festival, the film stars Academy Award® nominee Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix Trilogy), singer Natalie Cole, Laurie Metcalf (Desperate Housewives, Stop-Loss) and Cicely Tyson (Roots). The acclaimed author Mosley also wrote Devil in a Blue Dress which was adapted into a film starring Denzel Washington.

When the odds are against you, you have to face them fighting. Socrates Fortlow (Fishburne) tries to avoid trouble, but trouble comes looking for him.
