Is there any need for this? The original website is obviously trying to avoid spam trawlers from picking up the email address, and it isn't difficult to see what the email address actually is, is it?
I think you should respect the website and not post its email address like this.0 -

I think you should get over yourself, and realise that the poster was, perhaps, trying to be helpful.

I thought it was considered bad form to give the full entry details - these comps are run to draw people to the website, so if you just give all the details people can enter without ever visiting the site, which doesn't seem fair.

in fact any posts you have made have always been about comps from toytalk since you have joined mse
if a comp site states it doesn't wanted answers posted etc then it is generally respected on here so whats your problem0 -

I am associated with this site, and I have no problem with comps being posted here - obviously. But everyone knows that spam IS a problem and simply disguising the email address is a way of avoiding some of it. I don't see why pointing this out means I have a problem, or need to get over myself.
Is there any need to be so unpleasant in your responses?0 -

The way Mse comps board works is by giving details to comps, and if it is an email entry then the email is listed so it is generally a clickable link that opens up an email form, hence Matty put the email in the correct format so we all had ease of entry, and for people that have a web based email all they need to do is copy and paste the link straight into their email. Its done so comping is quicker and u can move onto the next comp and get on with your day.
Your comments went against how generally we post email comps so hence your responses.
If Spam is a problem for your site, then maybe invest in a better spam filter. xxx#JusticeForGrenfell0
