Count me in but I'm going to further it by saying as many NSD as possible in July (and beyond) with a minimum of 5.

today wasn't one... But there is always tomorrow, right?

    Smile!!

I've just started something pretty similar, doing mine in a diary style and going to try and update it every day and be completely honest about it. My biggest enemy is the corner shop. I do my big supermarekt shop one a fortnight and stock up cupboards and freezer and I just use the local shop for fresh milk and bread in between. I'm really disciplined in my big shop and always stick to my budget, but the local shop just cripples me. For example I went on sunday for milk and came back with two pizzas, a bottle of wine and chocolate, goodbye ten pounds! I'm hoping if I'm honest enough to list it all and I actually see how much I'm spending on extras I'll be able to really cut down. Good luck to you!!!

    Hello notenoughcash,

have you considered buying extra bread and milk in your fortnightly shop and freezing it? this could cut out the temptation of the corner shop completely.

My problem is supermarkets, everything is so shiny! I always come out with more than I went in for but I'm getting better!

I have thought about that but I don't have very much freezer space, although I'm sure that is partly just an excuse and I probably could do that if I tried!!!!

I'll join in but I'm going for far more nsd's than that. I'm going to go for four a week, so 16 for the month. Although I've started off badly today! I bought a cooked breakfast for £2.50 at the local community centre, and a coffee in town for £3. Mainly because I wanted to go out to do my open university work, I find I can't concentrate at home (internet etc keeps calling to me) so I go out to do it.

Can I join too? I've just started a spending diary as well and I'm aiming for as many NSDs as possible.

Oooops.......... I'm all embarrassed now. Maybe I'm just wishing it was June so I'd have an extra month to do the essay that's due on friday!
