You can also transfer surplus out afterwards if you choose.

Or just get cash out of the cash machine!

    Hellooo

I've had a Clubcard plus for a few years.. (and only recently started using it again)..
I direct debt money on to it each week for my shopping.

Anyhooo.. I was wondering. Last week when I paid for my shopping.. I gave them my 'normal' clubcard key fob for the points. Then paid with my Club Card plus.

Only because I wasnt paying attention.

But.. I have heard some people say (in store) as they hand over their ClubCard Plus.. 'For points and paying please' ... (so it all happens on one card)

Sooo.. How do the points on the ClubCard plus card work? .. Do you get the points on what you debt it to pay your bill in store? ..

Or like me the other day.. did the points go on to my Key fob 'normal' clubcard.. and I missed out on the double points because I didnt use the Clubcard plus for points?..

gawwwd lummy.. I didnt explain that very well did I.. :rotfl::o
Very proud of trying to deal with my debts. LBM 04/09

I have CC + and I know that I get double points on what I spend in-store. If I hand over the CC + but then pay with another method I only get single points. The extra double points go on later and are under the TPF heading

My understanding is that with the clubcard+ you get one normal point and one point for paying with the card. So if you spend £10 and hand over just the clubcard+ you'll get 20 points: 10 points and 10 TPF points.
If you spend £10 and hand over the clubcard+ and another payment method you'll get 10 points.
If you spend £10 and have over a clubcard for the points and a clubcard+ to pay you will get 10 points on the normal clubcard, and 10 TPF points.

    Hi
I am pretty rubbish at these things but am wondering if its worth getting the tesco credit card, if I put a montly spend of £1000 on this card with approx £200 of that being spent at tesco (also with clubcard), could anyone tell me the points value in cash (and deals)
    thanks

That's pretty much it. You will only have one Clubcard account, beit Clubcard only or Clubcard+. So any points you claim on your Clubcard+ when you hand it over for the points, or your Clubcard keyfob when you hand it over, will all equal the same amount of points and go into the same Clubcard account.

Where Clubcard+ gives you more points is when you also use it to pay for your purchases, effectively giving you double points with so much for collecting the points and so much for paying through Clubcard+.

    Hi,

I thought I would let you know that next month Tesco are going to re-introduce extra clubcard point multisaves. ( eg buy 2 and get 30 points ).

Keep an eye out its a good way of boosting points.
