Think its a grabbit - read somwhere that the price will go up to something like 3 for £5 in a couple of weeks.

There's always a price war on Easter eggs each year but this does sould like a v good deal.

Our Big W closed in Jan 2005 and everything was 70% off inc sale prices. Spent a few hundred but saved so much more.

I was in my local town after work and i saw loads of people walking with huge clear bags with easter eggs in them and then i remembered seeing this promotion advertised.
I wandered over to there as i was going to purchase other items and thought i woud pick up a couple for my son.
WELL i was pushed out of the way by a woman who wanted 20 !!!! Flake eggs. I went to pick one up and she huffed at me !!!
I stepped back and she cursed when i said sorry your need is obviously greater than mine.
The man turned to me and said that the staff had filled the shelves up 3 times already today and they were coming back again tomorrow.

 This selling of Easter eggs during the Christmas period reminds me of a true story told to me by a friend who came from Liverpool. Her neice was in a school nativity play one year, when the teacher decided that as kids never remember their words, it was better to make it unscripted. So it began. The Angel Gabriel took their position, told Mary "you gorra baby who's God's son, but dont get too attached to him, coz he'll be dead by Easter !" Not wishing to insult anyone religious (or from Liverpool or both) but it seems that shops wont even let the poor wee baby have the few weeks until Easter before shoving eggs at us. Really funny story though.... just hope no one starts burning effigies of Easter eggs in the streets now though.... eeeeek :rotfl: :A :easter:
"Many a mickle maks a muckle"... but just how many mickles do you need ? dont suppose a piece of string and a ha'penny will do this time:rotfl:
