I was referring more to complain that their posts get deleted from the site when had only posted 3 times! No point complaining on here. If he thinks something stinks, then write to Trading Standards...
Correct me if i am wrong but this is a cousumer forum where experiences of good and bad practice are shared he or she is well within their rights to complain on here to let others know about problems. If the poster feels strongly about the issue then also right to Trading standards perhaps this thread is best put in the consumer vent forum.0 -

Of course they can complain but...
1) It's the wrong forum and...
2) It would be more effective to contact Trading Standards that make accusations about the company on here

Sorry this is really the only threads I come on this site for, I feel that I should make others aware as you guys are giving this site the big thumbs up and only joined to post point out my problems tbh.
I think money saving people like my self should be aware of the problems. I have been an avid viewer on here but have never felt the need to post before.
I will be in contact with trading standards also. if not the press.0 -

Spot on, any reputable company excludes staff from their own competitions.0 -

Moderators are not paid staff, they are just ordinary members who have been offered the role, they do not get paid anything, they do it because they want too. Any one of us could get upgraded to Mod if we spent enough time on the forums and proved ourselves trustworthy.
They have just as much right as anyone else to enter contests, but I will agree that it is a bit fishy if it is always (or very often) a mod that wins.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
I am very disappointed in this site, I was a moderator there before I left due to issues with another mod and myself not getting on I resigned. You are right mods are not staff. Mods do everything as volunteers.
But be aware boffer will be quick in banning you should you dare say anything out of turn against their customer service or disagree with mods or staff. there is no freedom of speech on the site. Plus they have no problem locking your account but still keeping your money for goods ordered.
I left amicably although you may not believe that.
Some of you on here will have heard of me on the site as I was know as maggzymay and I am not afraid to voice my opinions on here. I am sure boffer don't run moneysaver and we are allowed freedom of speech.0 -

Regardless of if moderators are paid they are at an unfair advantage , they have control over the site no matter how little via the forum therefore they have an influence over the site and should not be allowed to enter. They forfeit any chance to participate in a competition or sweepstake, if they want to enter they should resign as moderators its that simple.
I have been a moderator of a few forums and when we have offered prizes it has been a unanimous decicion that all staff including moderators are not included it creates a conflict of interest im sorry to say but it has just highlighted that boffer have no interest in giving the customer good and honest service.0 -

I have been informed by staff that they have responded to your tickets and have given you a full and reasonable explanation as to why they were unable to supply you with the laptop. This was down to the supplier misinforming boffer of stock amounts and was out with boffers control at that time, They were unable to source more of that particular laptop and refunded your account in full. There is no more they can do within a situation like this and have acted reasonably with their customers best interest. I hope this answers your questions again. Thanks Magz
Thank you for trying, I do appreciate it a lot but they really didn`t give a full explanation at all, The contact is below. I did ask how it happened and if there was anything they could do, as you saw earlier in the thread. And then it got even stranger.
So The story from the start... Abbreviated...
I Said..”Hi, I just wanted to check if there was an ETA on the laptop order, as last time the tracking link didn`t show up causing a few problems with delivery with Citylink. (Also slightly concerned that items ordered after this have been sent out first to other people?)
Can you give me a rough idea so I know to be aware, and can preempt any deliveries that might fail. I work from home most days, but also have to attend meeting, so I don`t want to waste your and my money on deliveries failing if it can be avoided.
Thank you.

ThenHello,
Thank you for placing a recent order with Bigpockets. Unfortunately on completion of a stock check in our warehouse we realise that one of the items on your order has gone out of stock. We have been trying to source one from our supplier but they are unable to get any more of the Samsung R60 Notebook. Your order has been cancelled and a refund has been requested. You will get an email from our accounts department as soon as it has been completed.
Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Then to add insult to injury I get an email from bigpockets on the 4th December advertising the ”Samsung Core 2 Duo Laptop only £334.99....”Agnieszka

Hello,
Thank you for your message
Sorry to hear you have not received any communication regarding this. My colleague Blake emailed you as this order had to be cancelled due to the shortage and has been already refunded in full.
My sincere apologies for all the inconvenience caused.
Kind regards
Agnieszka”
It`s the same one the Samsung R60 that they said wasn`t in stock and they couldn`t source

Honestly, I really don`t understand at all how they can have tried everything but then be emailing out advertising the same product 2 days later?
Please can someone explain?
