  • I dont think individual advice is allowed and the markets are like a roulette wheel right now, that is the best view to take before spending any money imo
  • No offence, but I was asking ExBankers advice not yours.
  • I'm inclined to agree with sabretoothtigger on this one, It is too hard to predict how the market is going to react given the currecnt economic climate. Infact no one can predict, only make an educated decision with the resources they have at their disposal.

There have been suggestions financials could be suspended for a while in order to stop panick selling and to allow investors to digest what is happening. I personally think the Lloyds takeover is still going to go through. I cannot see a full nationalisation.

You may like to have a read on LSE.co.uk, lots of share chat on the above company there, have a search- but be careful what information you choose to believe. Lots of rubbish on there, but alot of good advice.
  • Yeah, I'm currently on there, have been for the last few days. Someone posted this...

I've set a stop loss, and a selling price too. I personally think if hbos takes another 25% + knock tomorrow it's pretty much game over in my opinion. Then again, who knows what the morning will bring...

Australia's All Ordinaries is index up 4.85% already. Could this be a good sign?

    hello again

what does everyone think now??????? I have bitten my nails to nothing. It seems to have gone quiet the last few days - I guess things are going on behind the scenes.

I have bank shares and have recently bought more. They are currently lower than the price I've paid but as I'm not looking to sell it doesn't worry me.

It is going to take time before there is any improvement maybe years so just wait it out. There is only a problem if your looking to sell.

Don't worry about something you cannot change, just ride it out.
