    quick question i hope yo can help me with. my mum was overcharged on a self scan but didnt notice, the cs said its down to her and no £2 card. is that right? many thanks

    Dont know what the £2 card is but under trading standards they should charge the price stated regardless of who scanned the goods through...what a cheek!

    pepsi offer is still running in our store.
    We got two 90p packets of shortbread biscuits for buy 2 for 80p - madness
    have also found out that our asda reduces things that have a sell by date of the next day at 7.30pm in our store. Brilliant as all the items we got had use by dates of 14th March, so will eat some over the next few days and the rest will be frozen ie lamb shanks x 2 - was £5.96 reduce to £2.00.

    I was told that I could have the product free instead, it cost £1.64. They used to have the £2 card thing on their website but I cannot see it on their website.:confused:

    I recently self scanned eight bags of crisps that were £1.49 each buy two for £1. Unfortunately one did not scan and thus the bill was £4.49 instead of £4.00. CS refunded .49p without question but as it was my error in not scanning properly I would not expect any extra allowance. To award a gift card in those circumstances would be seen to encourage people to mis-scan on purpose.

    PS. Just noticed that all my £2 off wine vouchers have run out of date!:mad:

    THANKS. The item I purchased was scanned at a serviced till and it scanned at a different price to what the shelf edge label said it should be.
