Sorry, I drank all the red“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
:T Thanks for that, my scanning skills are non existent. The link is still working - just the home page showing sold out, but if we've got until 28 Nov should be ok and now I've initiated the claim, it'll give me a little bit more to put by.
I've left fixed rate bond in - think it should be safe.
Hope you guys get some good news soon, it seems the % of 2nd e-mails received is slowly rising.0 -
I wonder how many of us who have posted in this thread are still waiting? it seems to have gone quiet recently perhaps there are only a few of us left now!
I am still here with no 2nd email.
I have been down to London this afternoon by car and the roads were deserted. Wondered whether everyone was sitting at home waiting for the second coming or had gone to Newcastle to man the pumps.
While you lot have been cavorting around I had a conversation with an Iraqi Republican guard in Harley St. He has 3 wives and 14 children in Baghdad . He was driving a tank like vehicle with Satnav in Arabic and a London A-Z in Arabic. What strange times we live in.0 -
It's Here, It's bl**dy here. Just this minute arrived.
This email invites you to log on to your Icesave account to be paid compensation in respect of your deposits with Icesave under the electronic payment process managed by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). We previously wrote to you about how the process would work on 4 November 2008.
I hope the flood gates have opened!
Congratulations :T:T:T:T:T:beer:0 -

Dulcoease or Activia yoghurt does the trick I'm told! Or, if all else fails more drastic measures involving shoving a small specifically manufactured [medicinal purposes only] object where the sun doesn't shine.0 -

With all them wives and kids, perhaps he was in Harley Street to have the "snip."
PS: Was the conversation in English or Iraqi? :rolleyes:In memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -
