Yes, you're limited to:

100MB/month.
Uploads: 25 GB.
unless you pay.

I think I will be able to live with these limits to be able to back up my photos and music online.Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0

I know that this may not answer your question, but have you thought about getting an extra internal/external hard drive? The external HDD is usually usb so it should be easy to connect/disconnect whenever you need to use it. Prices for these types of hardware are falling. For example a 250Gb External Hard Drive is £89.99 from Maplin. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module=4m4
There are unique discount vouchers which can be used to reduce the price more for certain amounts, and also if you qo through Quidco you can get 5% back!
It will take you longer to upload and download the files that you want from the online storage facility than it would be to drag and drop the files to and from across the External HDD!0 -
