This is not usb. Misco have discribed it incorrectly. It is an external tuner, which you can pass through(via D-Sub) you computer, and use the swich on the unit. This means you can use this on any TFT or CRT without the need for a computer.

Why don't they just make freeview tuners with a VGA output then we could really have cheap useful LCD TV's. Divx DVD players are starting to come with them.

Probably a daft question but ...it's not possible to get a cable to connect from the SCART off the back of a Freeview box through to a LCD monitor??
