Default 10,000 Free Moneywise Magazines

UPDATE NOTE 6 MARCH 10.42

All free copies of the Moneywise mag have gone now.

What is it?

Moneywise magazine is the largest circulation money monthly in the UK (and it’s got a column by me in there too!)

What's this freebie about?

I managed to blag Moneywise to give 10,000 free copies away to MoneySavers, the normal cover price is £3.95. This is a total freebie, ie no need to sign up and cancel the direct debit like the normal free magazines thread.

Of course the main reason Moneywise agrees is it includes details in there of its subscription offers, and hopes MoneySavers are the type of people who'll like and buy/subscribe to the mag.

If you had a Moneywise freebie last time, you can't this time

This isn't the first time I've blagged free copies from Moneywise. If you had a copy in the last six months you won't be allowed one this time as it's (understandably) put a limit of no more than two in any one year.

Please only get it if you'll read it!

And while it's a freebie, if you won't read the magazine or aren't interested in reading it (it's more hardcore money than the consumer finance stuff of this site) please leave copies for those MoneySavers who'll enjoy it.

When's it out?

It is the April edition of Moneywise, which is in the shops on 28 March and MoneySavers should get it within a week either side of that.

Want to request a copy?

To grab a copy click on the link below and enter your detail. It's on a first come first served basis.

All copies gone now!

not everyone wants to sit in front of a computer screen to read a magazine. I prefer the hard copy so I can sit and read it at a time to suit me with a nice cup of coffee in my favourite comfy chair etc. Also the mags these days have 80% + recycle material in their make up and then I recycle the mag.... thanks though for prompting green issues..

sounds like a great magazine, thanks OP

I also prefer hard copies of magazine to read on the bus & in bed. Electronic copies can be tiresome on the eyes.

my point being:

Save trees, energy, royal mail van polution, costs for the Moneywise people.... you'll see why

Giving readers of MSE the chance to have a free electronic copy would save these resources:

Moneywise's costs would be reduced significantly for this one-off promo by going digital and so would enable them to provide a free read to more than 10,000 people to have the chance of a read of their magazine and so helps their promotion AND as well more MSErs

In this instance I was saying if we ALL (not just 10,000) got a free electric copy, more people get it at less cost for Moneywise and the environment.

I'm not somebody who says all printed material should go digital, I am somebody who thinks about more people benefiting from a promo like this. Would you put up with an electric copy so ALL MSErs could have an electric copy too???

Indeed someone would, then no-one would buy that months mag would they?

And also, I don't know about you but staring at a screen reading a h uge article does have an impact on your eyes after the 4th or 5th page! Whereas with printed material you can relax in bed and read it before you go to sleep

If you're that concered about the environment have you thought about joining a group? Or going out planting trees in your back garden? Or not driving?
