I'm considering buying and using a system with an all in one printer scanner copier the Epson Stylus DX4400

The last time I tried filling carts I ended up with an inky mess. That was a few years ago using a syringe kit the name of which escapes me, "J" fill or something like that.
As per the title of the thread, are they any good and can someone give me an idea of what the cost savings are by using them?
Thank you very much.

I don't have any direct experience of Continuous Ink Systems (because I don't print lots).
However, I'm fairly sure that in the Which? magazine article on original versus compatible ink carts last month they made the comment that they would not recommend any such system as all that they had tried were fiddly and messy to use.
Might be worth checking the article yourself - should be available at any public library.0 -
