I overslept this morning so came rushing down to laptop at 5.37ish to find 167 in stock items! I was gutted thinking I'd missed out until I went through it all and found no toys. I definitely don't need any more toiletries! Let's see what tomorrow brings................

wow you must have lots of space if you are still looking! I slept in thankfully. Really missed out on Wednesday's toy lot. Maybe tomorrow might be better, xx
  • ............some arrogant, irate, and b1tchy SA who feels the benefits are coming out of their wages............. If you are the SA that works on Mini Mode at (deleted) and you're reading this, get a life and have a heart!!
Just a recent example of similar sentiments posted.

PLEASE can we stop the extreme amount of SA bashing of late? They are only human, and most SA's are :A - remember they are only doing their job!

We are lucky to have the sort of info and understanding of glitches on here - some of which comes from SA's which post up what they know ((((big thanks)))). You never know what the SA has been instructed to do or accept at the till, after all each store (as we know) is different! If things don't go to plan - try a different SA/store/day! Lets not get personal and hurtful - not what this thread is about.................

Well back to the Grabbit - online there is an offer on the new John Frieda Overnight serum (Normalprice £14.99 for 50 ml) - free gift with purchase (limit to first 500). http://www.boots.com/brandtreatment/flexible_brand_treatment.jsp?classificationid=1052276&wblinktype=C03S6R03B01 also on 342.

Well I did this last week (the 342) and was delighted to receive my 3 serums, plus 3 JF straight shampoos, and 3 JF straight conditioners! All nine for £29.98 :T

Just had a quick look and its still working now so not sure if the first 500 is applying?( seems to be 243 sets of free gift left) Worth a look if you like JF ;)

(P.S. tried the serum last night, you only need a little and its lovely! Hair all soft and glossy this morning!)

how old is your 'baby'? perhaps you got a different book of coupons.

i figured all the "Little Book of Coupons" were all the same. so maybe you got a different booklet for mums with older babies.

If I remember rightly she was born last December:rotfl:

  • Please can someone give me a little more info on the Over 60's club?

Does the 10% discount apply when you use points?
Does it apply on top of 3 or 2's, or half price offers, and already reduced items?

Hope someone can straighten me out on this, as OH never seems to get any discount!
    Thanks

    Phewww..
Well i've just finished an 18 minute phone call to Boots CS.
I was originally ringing to see whether my order was still coming today as it is still showing as "processing" online. I spoke to a lady a couple of days ago who said that the items were definitely not going to be cancelled as they were in the warehouse all packed and were just waiting for a carrier.
Buttt.. The items have infact been cancelled! what a suprise..tut!
They guy was very very sweet tho and refunded £5.50 postage, when it was only £2.95 i paid- to my paypal. Although he shouldn't really have done that considering the items are not going to come. LOL..
I had a little moan saying how ridiculious it is the amount of things getting cancelled, only to be shown in stock a couple of days later.
He was really apologetic and said he'd put 1000 points back onto my card- ready for collection from tomorrow onwards. I would have much prefered the toys, as its my daughters 4th birthday next month and i am on a low income as it is, so the 75% items are affordable for me. But £15.50 in return i am pleased with, esp as i can no longer afford to wake up at 5am for the sales no more.
May be worth calling up [ or even emailing ] if you've had things cancelled on several occasions to see what you're offered as a good will gesture. :)
    Gotta love a bargain :j
