Women's work outfits for a fiver at Asda

What's the deal?
Last week it was men's suits for £15, this week it's the turn of the ladies. Until 26 February Asda is offering black bootcut trousers and a classic white shirt for a fiver. There are 110,000 available, nationwide in stores that feature George. It might be worth giving your local Asda a ring to make sure they have some in stock before venturing out.
What do you get?
It's available in sizes 8 to 24, plus the trousers come in short, regular and long. The shirt is a cotton and polyester mix while the trousers are 100% polyester. It's basic stuff but for a fiver a cut price deal.
How come it's so cheap?
By buying in bulk they can get big savings and sell cheap. Plus this is a massive promotion, in the hopes it'll draw more people to asda - helping its image of being 'price competitive' and hoping they'll buy other things too.

Hi, don't mean to look a gift horse in the mouth, but is this a full suit - sounds like there's no jacket? Or am I misunderstanding the first post?
Obviously £5 is an unbelievable deal even for Asda but just wanted to clarify?0 -
hi morgmonster, there's no jacket included I'm afraid0

The offer is that you get the shirt free with the trousers. The trousers are normally £5 anyway, plus you get the white shirt which is normally £2 odd free with it.0
