Bbq Cleaning

in Old style MoneySaving
The grill pan for my BBQ is clogged and I am having difficulty cleaning it. Tried Brillo pads. Its the same type of metal as a normal grill.

Anyone got any suggestions?

    stick it in the bath, with lots of hot water and some soda crystals, leave to soak for a couple of hours, and then it should wipe off easily

    give the bath a good scrub afterwards though, as all grease off the bbq makes it slippery

    And if you don't have soda crystals (shame on you :)) then you can use any bio washing powder in the same way.

    If you want to soak the grill as above but not in the bath, you can do the whole process by putting the grill and whatever cleaning liquid you want into a bin liner, tie up then leave it in the sun.
