i am doing my 7 year olds party on the 23rd, and have £13.00 for food, everything else catered for mother paying for bouncy castle and i have 2 games of parce the parcel as well, they are going to a party from 12-2 and then mine is 3-5 so they wont be that hungry any ideas for cheap food in asda i already have £5 put by for a caterpillar cake.

It's my son's 7th birthday and party on the 23rd too!
A good cheap and healthy nibble to have is a huge bowl of popcorn (flavoured if you like) and then children can fill up a paper cup and munch away. I think it's about 59p from Tesco/Morrisons for a bag of kernels which makes loads.

im going to throw OH a 23rd party on the 13th of August and i want it all kiddie style.
Gonna make him a winnie the pooh cake, get streamers and hats and party bags with kiddie nibbles and jelly.
He will LOVE it!!! so will i.
I want to make a fuss of him as it celebrates the end of his time away in London and he will miss his birthday with me so weer celebrating 2 days later when he gets home.
I might even post all the pictures off our OS kids party.. with adults0 -
thankyou guys, decided on an old style tea party, sarnies, cheese straws,cheese and pineapple sticks,crisps,jam tarts,butterfly cakes squash and trifle plus main cake.i have got some mini organza bags i found and bought 2 packs of sweets which i am going to fill them with and tie a ballon on with a piece of birthday cake.hope it dosent thunder but mother has a marquee anyway,fingers crossed.0
