HELP - superglue on fingers...

...no I haven't superglued my fingers together BUT I've managed to get it on about 6 of my fingers while fixing something. What can I do to get it off? I wouldn't be bothered except it's right down the outside edge of my right index finger so it's irritating me

Do plenty of washing up, it usually disappears. 1a_y_tongue1.gif

Warm water. Maybe a scouring pad?

I always end up doing this at work.

If it's really bad and causing irritation etc there is a special solvent for it that you might be able to get from your local chemist. Maybe a DIY shop, but I'd try the chemist first.

Otherwise, yes, do lots of washing up :)

Edit: Or maybe a model making, hobby, or craft shop.

cover your finger in a pad soaked in cold water ,leave for a while and it should gently peel away

Use a fine emery board to sand it off until they are all smooth. ;)

Thanks for the advice - 3 lots of dishes and a while spent just rubbing the side of my fingers and it finally came off. Going to keep this thread in my subscriptions as no doubt before too long I'll need it again :rotfl:

    Hi :)

I've just merged you onto an older thread that covers this. If you read the earlier answers they should all help.

    Good luck :)
