I'm not unduly concerned, but I've started getting quite a few spam messages to a gmail account that has been clean for at least a year. I have no doubt it's one of the apps on Facebook that has triggered this.
Suddenly everyone from Asda, Tesco, Apple want to give me £250 vouchers... ipods.. yeah right. Very UK-orientated spam.
Anyone else experienced a similar phenomenon? Just wondering if there's an especially dubious app that I ought to get rid of

Well, it sounds from the above post that it's nothing to do with Facebook. Perhaps gmail related...?My TV is broken!

Same thing happened as soon as I signed up to Bebo. Got loads of spam and junk exactly same as you, vouchers etc for Asda etc to hotmail address.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0

Funny, yours are in dollars.
I've just deleted a load of apps, but I did have a ton of trash ones. Here are the ones I can remember I have had at some point.
Vampires, ninjas, werewolves, (sigh)
superwall, virtual bookshelf, places I've been, likeness, towns I've been
Big pub quiz, superlatives, movies, quizzes, hotlists, top friends, Moods, graffitti. The one where people send you drinks.
Ultimately, I'm not that fussed, it's all being picked up by the filter, but it's mildly irritating. My TV is broken!

Its fake spam i'm afriad. Asda would not advertise in dollars as fay mentioned as the company is owned by the American company Wall-Mart I do believe."The internet is a great way to get on the net."
