Successfully getting some of the better glitches often depends on if the SA you pick is willing to try. Its sometimes sensible to buy some other things to 'disguise' your bargain. If the SA won't put it through, please don't make a fuss - they are only doing their job. Just try again another SA / store / day. It is a good idea to try and make a friend in a SA if possible.

I have just signed up online for an advantage card for dh. I want a new toothbrush (electric) and the oral b one would be great. I joined the parenting club a few months ago (the vouchers i received have expired) but just joined him up for it aswell.
Do they mind if you have 2 advantage cards per house? Is it worth having the 2 cards?0 -

Hi Gang I had my best bootsing day EVER yesterday :T
I arrived at my local store late afternoon, and it was 90% day , and the SA was charging basically what they wanted and I got some real bargains, I got....
SHOP 1
Boots Steam Steriliser £2 (Came up £34.99 at first)
3 x Kodak 75 sheet Premium photo paper £1 in total (These went through at 3 for 2 as well, and they SA said they were originally £16 each)
3 x Kodak 4x6 20 Sheet Premium photo Paper - 75p in total
Ted Baker Shower Gel £1
Kodak Waterproof disposable Camera 50p
Kangol aftershave 50p
Pack of 16 duracell AAA batteries 50p
2 x Johnsons 4 pack of wipes £5.78
TOTAL £11.03:T (and another £5 skincare voucher) and 44 points
(If you add these up you will see that they also total £12.03 but they only charged me £11.03 and so they have lost a £1 on the receipt somehow as well)
SHOP 2 - Remembered about 9pm last night that I had still got 2 skincare vouchers to spend and it was the last day, so... flew down to The Trafford Centre, Mcr and got....

But the best of all was.... I managed to find and get the mythical ROC GWP.
It scanned no problem, and I was trying very hard not to grin like mad when the SA put it through because I felt like a fisherman who had caught a HUGE fish :rotfl: . The only downside (which my OH thought was karma!!), was the fact that someone had already stolen the £5 voucher, and so I just got the makeupbag, mirror and headbag. I am still over the moon though
TOTAL SPEND £10.68 + 508 points gained (Other voucher was unused because there was nothing much left on TD, Olay etc at all - I will keep this as a reminder of my best day at Boots ever - Sad I know!!!) Aims for 2014

they don't mind at all if you have 2 different cards.
Re the toothbrush - it's on offer at the moment and your OH probably won't get his new parenting vouchers in time to use the +2000 points on this. I think I've got a spare one lying around which I would happily send you if you pm me your address!
