Alliance and Leicester account

HI I have just opened an Alliance and leicester accout and have gained $50 for myself and my wife (two seperate accounts). if you have a premium direct account or a premium current account along with your firstname and surname I will add you as my friend referrer and you will make $50 (so will I). first come first served. If you would like the cash please post your email address and I will email you to find out the details. This is not a con. I can post the form with my name and account number to you (im not worried theres no conf sec details) and you can add your details then post to A & L for £50.

Let me get this straight, you want people to post their e-mail address to a public forum?

Since you have opened one of these accounts, you'll already know it is UK-based, so the payment is in £, not $, and the account name is Premier, not Premium. Perhaps your keyboard is set up incorrectly and you made a few typos so that it just looks like you are a Nigerian 419 scammer?

If so, please feel free to join the long queue of people waiting to refer others to this account in the Referrers board, where these posts are allowed.

    Hi Masonic,

Just to let people know in case they don't frequent the referrer's board as they should - it's actually better to go through quidco for the £50 they have on offer at the moment than going through a referrer as the RAF amount is currently down at £25 each so no referral deal can match quidco. This may change next month or at some point in the near future but for now that's the way to go. It's really best just to have a look at the referral forum whenever you see a RAF deal going though as you never know what might be on offer and, as Masonic points out, that's the only place on this board referrals should be asked for or offered.

    Regards

    Michelle

    Hi Michelle,

I had a feeling the RAF offer had gone back down to £25 recently, but in the case of the OP, that might not matter. I'm presuming the OP has an original voucher for £50 from his welcome pack. Certainly A&L have honoured these original vouchers at face value in the past, even when it appeared they were reducing their payouts from the £50 photocopied ones. I don't know if there are any added strings attached to this latest generation of vouchers, but the OP still might be able to get someone a £50 payout from A&L.

Still, when faced with choosing between a £50 payout through an unknown forum poster and £50 through Quidco, the decision is still pretty easy for most.

    Hi Masonic,

Yes it's not really applicable for the OP but I just thought I'd let people know that quidco's better than the RAF deal at the moment in case they were thinking of opening the account. The OP does have an original July £50 voucher and this will still be honoured by A&L so long as he sends it in within 8 weeks of opening his account. Anyone who opened their accounts in July and haven't yet sent their vouchers in will need to hurry up as they'll be running out of time.

The only strings attached to these vouchers are that the account needs to have been opened between the 2nd and the 31st of July. Anyone who opened an account after that can't try to use them due to the July dates but also because a new online RAF system was instituted on the 1st of August which means the paper vouchers have now been discontinued completely. The only way to get referred now is by opening your account via an online link so a referral can't be done in retrospect anymore as it could previously. They've really tightened up on the whole system as well as putting the amount down - they were bound to eventually as it was amazing the way they would often pay out on old genuine £50 vouchers at times when the amount was technically down at £25 or £30. I'm just surprised it took them so long!

    Regards

    Michelle
