Does anone know how to reset the brother 2030 laser printer.
We have 4 of these and one of them has the tomer light on permanently...and this is after replacing the toner cart with one from a perfectly Ok m/c.
Does anyone know how to reset this light??
(Before anyone says it , it's not the Drum light')

1. Open the Front cover
2. Press and hold the GO button
3. Power ON the printer while continuing to hold the GO button
4. Once the top 3 LEDs (drum/toner/paper) are lit and Ready goes out, press the GO button 2 times. This will cause the LEDs to light solid
5. With the LEDs lit solid, press the GO button 5 times
6. Toner Life End will then reset
7. Close the front cover.

I tried the "code" dick9918 posted but unfortunately typed some other code (probably the 3-5-combination instead of 2-5). The result was, that the printer does not respond at all anymore. I tried various other codes in the hope, that there will be a resetcode but I didn't finde one. Does anyone know more about these codes or does anyone know how I manage to get my printer working again?0

Try the Brother web site or give the friendly help desk a call.0

Thanks LOTS to dick9918 for listing the reset 'code/s' for the Brother Printer, it works and its brilliant.
Please may I ask if you or anyone else knows if there are any more reset codes for the same printer, also do you know if these/your 'codes' work the same if the drum light was to pop up and stay on continously?
Thanks again
