does choclate go moldy?

just opened a milkybar for my little one and it looked like a bit of mold but its in date ?

Chocolate will actually last about a year provided it is not kept too warm ::)

It obviously has been heated up probably at some point or not wrapped properly ................take it back to the shop :)
or better still e-mail the makers

Is it like a white powdery finnish on the surface? This can be an indication that the bar has been kept in too warm a place and the milk solids have risen to the surface. The shop should refund if you take it back and stamp ya foot

it had but it had proper mold on it white and blue/green

only a little bit , iv had choc that has gone white and powdery before and it was just out of date and i thought that is all choc did ???
so dont no where the mold came from ???

i have started to wright a letter but im not very good at complaing will giveit a go though cause i had to put up will a unhappy 3year old haveing a paddy for 2 hr

funny cause i usually let him open things his self now (as he is now mr indpendant these day) but i did today good job to he would have just eaten it and wouldent have noticed :-X
