Please Reply ASAP- I need help Re amending my MCOL claim

Hi,

Please can someone assist me A.S.A.P cos i'm losing hair now. I have placed my claim online via MCOL and it has been aknowledged.
I have made a big Boo Boo, I had mis estimated my charges and also included an estimated charge for 6 months that they didnt send me statements for, I have now realised I can't claim this so need to amend my claim. I believe this is done by using Form N244, do i have to print this off and then fill it in by hand and send it or is there a way online that I can do this????
I also realised from reading the threads that I also need to send of my Particulars of claim by letter to both the Courts and the bank, please confirm this is the case.

if you now know exactly how much you are claiming, your claim can be ammended once it is transfered to your local court using the n244 which can be downloaded from this site.

    http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/HMCSCourtFinder/GetForm.do?court_forms_id=484

once you have filed via MCOL you then send one set of your charges and interest calculations to your bank and next set to the northampton court(MCOL) along with a letter quoting your claim No which you will have from MCOL stating that you wish these to be filed along with your MCOL claim and they then send them along to your local court when your case gets transfered.

once your claim is transferd then give your local court a ring they'll help you more regarding ammendments.

court fee is a one off £35 non-refundable or claimable
  • Thankyou, I have already filed via MCOL, but the amount I am asking for is different to the amount on my set of charges and interest calculations that I need to send to my bank and the court, will this matter?
I'm understanding from what you stated above that the N244 doesnt need to be completed until it has got to my local court, will I have to print this off and send via letter.

one other option would be to match your charges an interest to match your claim unless it's a huge amount?

have a look here also (the garyh thread )
