Looking for an electric pitch this coming weekend - with a swimming pool if possible for the kids. Not too worried about exact location. 45 mins from Norwich is about the limit.
Have left it a bit late to book - anyone know of any cancellation?
Edit: OK the pool isn't necessary ... anyone got any ideas?

Forgive me, but I am still looking for a campsite pitch for my motorhome in Norfolk this coming May Bank Holiday weekend.
I have called about a dozen likely sites big and small but they all seem to be full.
Any ideas gratefully received.0 -

I live in a small village called aldeby, there are 2 camp sites, one being the waveny river centre and the other being the local pub wheatacre white lion. I know they are practically empty at the moment, and that they dont cost much. Were not that bad a village and were about 30mins south of Norwich.
Id say the waveny river centre is the best as its got a pool and shop and good pub/resturant. HTH
p.s its been warmer than here than the north coast too.

Thanks Manda! The river centre looks excellent but sadly they are almost fully booked for the weekend and don't have a space big enough now for mine:-(
I'll look up the pub number.
Thanks everso for responding ... that was exactly the kind of info I was hoping for.0 -
I have stayed at Clippesby Hall in the past and it is a lovely quiet site with bar that serves food and a very small outdoor pool.
http://www.clippesby.com you could give them a go but I do know that they get booked up at peak times.0 -

Sorry Chris25, I somehow overlooked your post earlier! Thanks for your help though. Kelling Heath is one of our regular haunts but is full this weekend. Will check out some of the others but I think we'll be checking out Aldeby as we've not been down that way before.
Thanks everyone!0
