:rotfl: :rotfl: I guess you don't really pay much attention to user names :p

I would prefer when the kids are on the computer not to be able to see anything unsavoury.

    Thanks.

if you search the techie board for "parental controls", there are several threads on the subject.

One quick and easy way is to tell your PC or router to use scrubit s dns servers instead of your isp

  • K9 Web Protection is highly rated. If your kids are pretty young and you just want to prevent them from stumbling upon !!!!!!, using filtering software is fine.

If, on the other hand, they have already been looking at !!!!!! sites or are old enough to be taking an interest in sexual matters, I think the software could be counterproductive. Making !!!!!! a 'forbidden fruit' could land them and you in trouble if they resort to desperate measures like, say, using school computers to fulfill their curiosities. Talking to your kids, having all computers in the family room, supervising their computer use and having rules like if the browser history is deleted, they loose their computer privileges, would be a better approach.
The true cost of something is what you give up to get it.
  • Sorry your right...

    Get Married...

If your Husband catches you, he'll use a program called T.V Remote 7.3.
It stops !!!!!! browsing by over use.

You could try Naomi, it is freeware although unfortunately the author has stopped developing it further.
