does anyone have uses for old ones, throw loads out a week, seems a waste.

i do compost mine usually, just we get through 160 a week at work and 80 at home, seems a lot to throw out. will be trying them in the plants and things.0

got four in the fridge for eye pads to reduce bags, lots gone on the garden and on all indoor plants, plants nearly all got some, so am back to the website for more ideas.0

This is an old thread but found it very interesting as I'd like to use my tea bags to feed my plants with - but does anyone know how to feed them, I tried to get on to the link provided above without any success and surley I would have to open the used tea bag or else it wouldn't really mix in with my plants :snow_grinbecame debt free December 060

It may reduce your bags, but i would be afraid that my eyes would turn brown due to the tannin in the actual bags. Have you noticed the brown stuff that tends to cling to the side of cups after you have had a cup of tea?
