what do you think of fixed deposits as opposed to current accounts??

sorry, cannot edit the title of the post..not current accounts..that was a mistake..it has to normal savings accounts..

please share your wisdom..

    sorry maybe i used the wrong word..i edited the post..fixed deposits and normal savings accounts..btw, not to spam..not that jobless..
    i've earned some cash, relative a large amount..so im wondering whether to start a normal savings account or to start a fixed deposit..

    Are you likely to want access to your money? If not, go for fixed deposit.
