Hello everyone
. Welcome to the weekly spend challenge. This challenge is open to anybody, no matter what financial place they are in.
On this thread please post an amount of money you wish to stay below within the week (Sunday to end of working day on Friday). This can be pennies or thousands it depends on the individual. Then next Saturday report back and pledge for the following week. Feel free to update this thread with daily spends if that keeps you on track.
This is a little bit of fun but for many it highlights the fact that maybe that magazine/chocolate bar isn't needed. Hopefully your spending habits can be changed forever.

Evening all,
I had another red week last week as I have been going out too much and spending money needlessly. I also decided to buy an iphone today from tesco so I got a good deal in comparison to other networks. This means I really need to buck up my ideas and actually stick to my budget. I will be using the handy budgeting tool on the phone so this might help.
Anyway after an expensive weekend I am going to start my budget from now and I am pledging £40 for this week. This includes a night out at theatre on tuesday (ticket already paid for) and bookgroup on Wednesday that I need to buy wine for.
Good luck everyone and let me know if I have made any mistakes or missed anything off the list.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Evening PP!
Came in under budget last week - don't know how I'll get on this week, with it being half term:eek:, but am pledging £15!! This is for any non-budgeted spends (ie not petrol, groceries, bills etc.) It's getting a little tight now as payday is just over a week away!!!!20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Hello everyone. Quite a few reds last week, me being one of them, oh well.
Anyway, I still have my £10 in my purse. Am supposed to be going for a lunch on Friday but am going to be very sensible and not go. This will save me about £8. Someone is leaving my work and although she is very nice, I'm not too fussed.
Good luck everyone.....Mortgage FreeSave £5,000 in 2020[CENTER:j0 -

£80 for me again please.
My week started last Friday so I am well into my week. I had an expensive Saturday crafting and while there I spent money on craft related stuff so only have myself to blame. Only have £21 left and I have to get some shopping tomorrow. Will probably have to go round the supermarket with a calculator so I don't overspend but it is doable as I don't need much to see us through the week. Going into the red is not an option but I think it will be a neck and neck finish this week.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0 -
£1.16 spent so far, but happy about my NSD yesterday, hopefully a NSD tomorrow.
Hope you are all doing well0
