We are getting our usual chinese take away and 3 for a tenner bottles of wine and a wee night on the sofa watching 24 box set and the man will prob get in a game of online poker there too. I can think of nothing worse than going out in a forced romantic enviroment to eat reheated food and pay over the odds for it.

  • ah but is it not Valentine's weekend? Every event now seems to last a weekend or even a week, we have Valentines, Halloween, St Patricks etc.. The longer the event the more money to be had!

im going for the picnic in a car option, gives us a chance to go to one of our favourite and meaningful spots and the effort of making stuff yourself is more appreciated (and a heck of a lot cheaper!!)

St. Valentines day this year is the same day as the Chinese New Year.(yr. of the Tiger for those that are interested)
I will be taking our lot to St. Georges market where there is a chinese themed family fun day event on .

    (and it's free!)

    Lol!
Seatzie, only you know the answer to that question. There could be some quite wiffy food stalls, always risky if you've "overdone it".
Since I became middle aged *gulp* I have a very poor tolerance of alcohol.(prob. lack of practice)
I get hung over easily and it takes me until the next afternoon to recover!
