    My sister was also given £500, so we have agreed to combine our pots. So we now have £1000.

    NSand I at best offer 2.5% at best if I am not mistaken. I am interested in the Guaranteed Equity Bond's does anybody have an idea of when they become available ?

    Is there anything better out there offering low risk, long term growth & more than 2.5% interest.
