Their Terms & Conditions are illegal, and also against the Data Protection Act.Sorry Penny Less (aka mommy!) but they called again today :-(
I had quite a row with them over the phone. Apparently they cannot stop calling us as it is against their terms and conditions. After speaking to a supervisor who preached from the same hymn book, i was rudely hung up on!
Grr!
xx
I'd go to the Information Commissioner's Office website here, and lodge a complaint. I can't guarantee that they can, but if enough people contact them, they may be able to take it further.
Don't go to Ofcom - the so-called "regulator" is less useful than a chocolate fireguard against a laser cannon.0 -
We are being pestered by energy savers too, they call us once a day usually at 7.45pm, I was hoping they would have got fed up by now, but its been going on for weeks, I just lift the handset and drop it back down now.0

Oh dear peeps, after being shut down last time, Energy Surveys are back
Received a call from them yesterday asking the same old questions. I just made up some gibberish and played along with hum until he got bored and hung up.
Just got to wait for them to make a mistake again by not witholding their number.0 -
UK Energy Surveys phoned me twice today. The first was a silent call, the second had a very persistent person wanting to know who supplied my energy. I told him it was my business but he kept on and on - eventually he tired of my refusal to take part
The number on both occasions registered as 02030266482. This same number has many facets ...... wanting to know what tv you have etc and also the usual dire warnings about computers about to crash unless you let them online to sort everything!!! Not a good idea.0
