GAME trade-in question

Hi All,

I am trying to drum up a bit of extra cash for Xmas and am thinking of taking my Nintendo DS Lite and a couple of games to GAME to see how much I can get for them.
They are in really good condition, not used that much generally.

Anyone have any ideas of what I may get? One of the games is Professor Layton and the curious village.

Thank you.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

Generally I think you will get much less from them than if you sell it yourself.

I use amazon as I find it less hassle than ebay. You could look on there and get an idea of the lowest marketplace price to give you an idea what it's worth
  • How much do you want for them? I would be interested in buying at the right price.
Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!

You really won't get much that way. I would recommend selling on ebay or amazon etc or privately in gumtree local papers etc.

  • I was offered £30 for my almost new DS today :-( surprisingly i decided not to sell!! and games u generally get about £3, they will offer more if u want to exchange for other games etc, and you need to take two forms of id in, one photo and one bill or bank statement from lat two months! Its a bit rubbish cos I paid £99 for mine and was really only selling because i really needed the cash!! try selling private, esp in run up to christmas!

Ebay or gumtree are a good bet :) Game are not very good at paying even half decent money for games - originally when the Curious Village came out I sold it on Ebay once I'd completed it for more than I bought the new game for in the shop as there was a shortage - now however there is certainly no shortage! And so the resale value has dropped.
