should i claim back bank charges

hi i have been living in my overdraft for about 5 years and sometimers gone over the agreeded overdraft limit ,going to be starting a dmp with cccs in jan 10 ,but my partners parents are helping to pay the overdraft off so we can close the account,,whould i still be able to claim for hardship charges,thanks i bank with hsbc

Yes reclaim charges, unlikely they will see it as financial hardship but ask them and definitely 100% reclaim charges for late payments, excess overdraft fees on the credit card since you have had the credit card.blurayaddict wrote: »no but credit cards behind on payments thanks0 -

Definitely in writing because they can dispute a conversation but can't dispute the contents of a letter.0 -
