:TI am so chuffed as I won a Children in Need raffle today at work for a week in a Club la Costa resort as a colleague is a member who always gives away one of his weeks. I know that they normally try and sell to you on these but as we are just using a colleague's membership and my friend went last yr to a scottish one, they didn't try to sell to her.
I need some help to choose which resort to go to with my husband and 4 yr old. Has anyone any experience of them?
Looks like Marina Del Sol in Fuengirola or Sunningdale Village resort might be best for me but can choose from:
Marina del Sol
Marina del Rey
CAstillo del Rey
Marina Dorada
Sierra Marina
Sunningdale village
CLC at Monterey
CLC at Paradise
We would be flying from one of the London airports
Many thanks

NO idea where you shoud go but just wanted to say ENJOY xx:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Both Paradise and Monterey are high up quite steep hills in outskirts of Las Americas, Tenerife but are lovely. Paradise more from families, Monterey for couples.0

Thanks for your reply. I guess I would rather not have to hire a car if necessary having looked at the cost of flights for the easter holidays - thinking May might be cheaper.......... Are the hills walkable to the beach at Paradise? I googled all last night but I think I confused myself with all of the different resorts and options! There are times when parenthood seems nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you Peter De VriesDebt free by 40 (27/11/2016)0

You wont need a car. Taxis are plentiful. Its about 25/30 Euro from airport. Paradise is around 1 KM from beach.Theres a shopping centre half way. Hill is ok. walk down ,taxi back if you arent too fit. I think they maybe have a courtesy bus anyway.
Even if you decide to tour the resort (for freebies), no matter what they say, don't sign up. Even if you love the place that much -many do, you can buy resale CLC points from motivated sellers for about 10p in the £ compared to new price0 -
An update!
We are booked to go to the Paradise Club in Tenerife thanks to your recommendation in the Easter holidays :j I have been assured that I don't have to go to any sales talks :rotfl:
Just got to find £600 for flights for the 3 of us  Serves me right for being a teacher's daughter who can't take a 4 yr old out of school:rotfl: I'm guessing that the flights are not going to get any cheaper
THanks for your help xThere are times when parenthood seems nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you Peter De VriesDebt free by 40 (27/11/2016)0 -
Not much of a ' prize ' if it is costing you £600 quid.0
