I would also be interested if anyone knows were you can get decent prices for Miami Beach hotels, they are soooo expensive for a nice one like the delano, loews. We stayed at the Loews this year and would love to again next year but rates are very high.
Have a look at the Virgin Atlantic site for hotels they sometimes have special rates.My mind tends to wander............If found please return;)
I can spell...................I just cant type

It may be worth taking a look at Travelzoo (both UK and USA sites) they have some really good offers. You can also sign up for their weekly top 20 offers.
I have twice stayed at the Albion Hotel in South Beach, Miami....it's not in the same league as Leows and Delano but it is in a really good location,(just around the corner from the Delano) it was clean, modern and affordable. Their web site is http://www.rubellhotels.com/
Hope this helps0 -
I tried to book a hotel room on hotwire as suggested for four nights. A blind booking system where the hotel name is only revealed after money has been exchanged. When the hotel was revealed I found the price cheaper on hotels.com by $10 a night.
Under hotwire T&C they offer a double your money back difference if the same hotel is found cheaper. I was guided to their price match page within my logoin area where I entered the name of the website that was offering a cheaper deal. Within 24 hours I was given a $80 refund on my booking.
The hotel I got was the Ramada Plaza Marco Polo Beach Resort
The moral -->
1. Hotwire isn't always the cheapest deal so beaware
2. Once booked on hotwire you have 48 hours to price match so get searching
3. Price match guarantee means I got a top hotel for $59 a night on miami beach0 -
http://www.roomratecompare.com/miami.html has a huge choice of Miami hotels, destination guide +weather forcasts.
(also search "Miami Beach" for even more choice!)
No single hotel website is always cheapest, in fact your favourite website for one city may charge you double its competitors for another city, so its always best to run several comparison tools to get the best deal.0 -
