DDA: asking ATOS for all information

**Title supposed to say DPA - Data Protection ACT**
Ok so I'm another victim of the whole ESA / ATOS disgrace... but I'm not getting into the ins and outs (so if you have nothing 'useful' to say leave it alone).
This post is merely to ask if anyone has successfully obtained full information held about them from ATOS. I have my medical report, but this is not a true reflection of what was said during the interview, so I would like to see exactly what was written on the computer while the assessment was conducted. I know it isn't the same as what I have been provided with in the report (because I could see the computer screen as the nurse was typing in the information) so would be interesting to see what it actually says.
Does the Data Protection Act work in my favour of trying to get this information. Thanks.

Yes - it's a subject access request to need to submit. It will cost £10, but some places waive this fee.0

You should be aware that SAR's do not always fulfil their intended purpose. There is nothing to stop ATOS amending information before it is provided to you.
I am not saying that this will happen, but in my experience (albeit not with ATOS) the SAR does not always provide entirely accurate results.Gone ... or have I?0 -
I would think that if the report you have received is different from what you saw being typed in on the computer screen then what was originally typed has already been deleted.0

According to atos themselves, there is supposed to be a fully detailed audit trail for the reports. Try asking for that, expect to be fobbed of with no such thing exists, or something similar.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -
ps - in all reality, probably not very much was written on the computer, as the most of the report is produced by the examiner ticking boxes on screen, and selecting from predefined wording supplied by LIMA (the software) - and the dwp wont release that software, or explain its algo's etc.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.
