Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Have had indirect experience of this all day as my employer is a Barclays customer and was awaiting a transfer for an expense claim... Site hanging all day on the log-in page before timing out.

The Big Bossman did contact Business Banking, who had no real answers and told him that she was not sure how long it would take and suggesting that he tried again tomorrow to see if it was working yet...

This was just after midday - at the time of the first on-screen message, acknowledging a fault.

Somebody else suggested that but I can't as I only have internet access at work at the mo, have just moved into a new flat and it's a luxury I can't afford at the moment. I shouldn't really start messing around with the works PC

    Thanks anyhoo :)

Unless your work "locks down" your PC so that you are prevented from adding any software, even if you try, it should be OK - its just a piece of software that sits on your PC and doesn't affect your office Network or anybody else's PC. If you are worried explain your problem and ask you IT admin person if its OK.- they probably won't oblect as its well known; tried and tested and FREE.

Do you think it will actually make a difference?

Does it look any different to internet explorer?

I downloaded msn and a few other things so I doubt it should be a problem tbh. I'm the most clued up on computers in the office so it should be fine....can't see that our I.T Support people will care
