Student drinks prices at grown up comedy night in London's West End

I went on Saturday to the Chuckle Club, a great comedy club in the West End of London. It costs about the same price as other Clubs, £10/£8 for students/concs, but the big bonus is it’s based at a University, so the drinks are at student bar prices, which means buying a round there for 4 (plus crisps!) can leave you with change from a tenner - a major rarity in the West End! Though interestingly there are rarely any students there, it’s just the location of the venue.

The acts are the same people that play all the other Comedy Clubs such as the Comedy Store or the Comedy Cafe (and usually literally the same as most of them do two gigs a night). If you're planning a night out in the centre of London on a Saturday it’s well worth a trip.

    Martin-

The link for the Chuckle Club doesn't work - should it be https://www.chuckleclub.com ? That gives the comedy club located between Holborn, Covent Gdn and Charing X?

Thanks, the link for the Chuckle Club is changed.

You can only book in advance for more than ten people I believe. However if you get there by 7.45 you'll get in no problems
