Default Car Sticker Contest. Vote for the winner!

Thanks so much for the vast number of entries to the car sticker contest. It was a nightmare shortening them down to just ten. I thought I would explain how I choose, in case you wonder why yours wasn’t picked.
  • Brevity. It needs to be really short, four words at most so it can be read
  • Open to all. The last sticker was great, but because of the word ‘screw’ many people didn’t want it on the car, so this time I’ve gone for something less scathing.
  • Appealing. Remember this is a form of advertising so it needs to be a slogan that’ll make people come visit the site.
There were lots of good ones, but in the end I got down to ten. I’ve tweaked a few of them a little bit too….

Poll Title: Poll Started 2 May 2006: Car Sticker Contest. Thanks to all the huge number of entries, I've shortlisted it down to ten. Which of these do you think is best? Remember it's about 'would you stick it on your car' and 'would it make it you come to the site?' Plus of course the person who suggested the winner gets £50!

Talking Car Stickers

Well i believe the "Moneysavingexpert.com - says it all" choice is the best as you want people to remember it by the time they got out the car and got home onto the computer.

Also, Where can i get one when you have decided?

I like 'what would Martin pay?' too. Can see what you mean about how most people wouldn't know who Martin is, but then thats the kind of thing that tweaks people's curiosity - so they'd visit the site to find out, which is the point of a car sticker in the first place. That's the kind of thing that'd make me want to take a look anyway so that got my vote!

Such a shame we can't have any of the 'special mentions' ...... Pleeease???
Second to a few of those is the 'rob a bank' - I think that makes people curious too, and has a 'smile factor'.
