Weekly Spend Challenge W/C 5th April

This challenge used to run every week (thanks to Moozie and PAP) but I have not seen it in a while so I hope no one minds but I need this to keep me on track ...
Hello everyone
. Welcome to the weekly spend challenege. This challenge is open to anybody, no matter what financial place they are in.
On this thread please post an amount of money you wish to stay below within the week (Sunday to end of working day on Friday). This can be pennies or thousands it depends on the individual. Then next Saturday report back and pledge for the following week. Feel free to update this thread with daily spends if that keeps you on track.
This is a little bit of fun but for many it highlights the fact that maybe that magazine/chocolate bar isn't needed. Hopefully your spending habits can be changed forever.
Moozie was the founder of this challenge and here is a quote taken from her around last year

Ok to be put plainly this week was a total and utter disaster on the budgeting front. I think my spends must in the region of £60 but could be more. So I am drawing a line under it and starting a fresh today. Going to be strict with myself this week and try to go for £15 as that gives me a bit of a buffer and try and reduce it next week.
£15 to include any extra spends but not groceries and other things budgeted for elsewhere.
Anyway I hope you are all well. I was climbing mountains earlier today so am cream-crackered!
Let me know your results and pledges and I will update the first post.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Hi all
I haven't even added my spends up, too scared!! Knew it would be a bad one. So definitely RED
Anyway will get back on track for this week, out with my friend on tues eve for her birthday, so at least £7 for that, then should be a pretty quiet week.
Will go for £15 just to make sure, anything left from that can be put over to next week.
Thanks PPSPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

Only spent £3 on ice creams this weekend!
Have got to be very organised as the kids are on easter hols, and will have me in the shops for sweet and treats every day, so i think this week will be very challenging to say the least!!

Hey everyone.
Once again I've managed to stick to budget only by the skin of my teeth. I have 9p left in my purse.
Next week I'll attempt £20 again - athough I've a couple of nights out on the horizon, so I may completely blow that.
Have a good week all!Looking forward to the future.0 -
So glad the forum is open again

I finished last week with £3 in purse, so that's another green week for me! :j
