Do not buy from these people!!
They say items are in stock on their website, when they are not.
They say they won't charge your credit card until they despatch your order, and they do.
If they send you out a partial order, and then the items come in stock, they offer to let you purchase the items again at a new, more expensive price.
They don't reply to any emails that you send them.
And, if you try to contact the on the phone, if you press any option but 1 (place an order), you are left waiting for about 15 minutes and then you get cut off.
There are other review sites which comment on this company, who have gone through a worse experience than I have. I'm luckily only down £8. There are people out there who are down £100!!

I nearly ordered from this company ( chemistdirect) over the weekend but after having a negative experience with another company ( camerabox ) I decided to google Chemist Direct first and seeing lots of reviews and complaints like yours I decided not to order."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the

I didn't realise there were two sites owned by the same person

Further to this post, emailing the director worked for me, and I received the remaining item within a couple of days, upgraded as they were out of stock of the item chosen originally. They also said they have changed their policy and do not now take the money until dispatch, unless you know differently of course

I've orderd quite a bit of stuff from them. They did after several days reply to my email. They dont let you kow if something if out of stock and the rest of your order is in stock they hold back until the out of stock goods come back into stock. I've spoken to them on the telephone and they do seem a bit of a shoddy outfit. The last time I spoke, they forgot to put me on hold, and they went walking off with what must have been a cordless phone, all I could hear was the person walking. I got my order tho.Regards,

Glad I read this thread first. To be honest I had my doubts about their set up when I read they were in Smethick and the above links proves how new they are.
I guessed what the set up would be a pharmacist starting a business, with low capital spent on customer care. I sent a message to them using their live chat -which is not live then after 3 days got a reply, not very helpful or enticing me to part with my cash.
They also promise price match but to be honest doubt I'll bother as I've found items up to £10 cheaper on other sites with free delivery as standard like all the Omron range(heart rate monitors, pedometers, weigh scales etc).
I've had a bad experience with paragon martial arts so don't think I'll tempt faith again with pharmacy/toiletries and odd cosmetics website.0
