By Royal Appointment

Is that what we'll see on the new MSE car sticker?

Well done Martin. Did you vist the palace toilets and do they have the 'by Royal Appointment' on the soap?

As for the Queen not bothering with moneysaving, I remember a story in the newspapers. Apparently the Queen chastised a young prince (I think it was Edward) for losing the dog lead in the grounds and was told "Go and find it, dog leads cost money"..............or something along those lines.

I know they have the portcullis on the paper napkins in the Palace of Westminster cafe.

Wonders whether Martin has a keepsake of his palace visit.

Well done Martin! Did anyone mention when the knighthood would be announced?

I do know that HM has always made a point of wearing her outfits more than once (which is probably quite money saving in those circles) so I would not be surprised at all to find that she listens in to you on Radio 2 .

Fascinating. I'd have been completely tongue tied. I'm quite surprised she doesn't use the Internet as I heard she was very fond of her Blackberry.

How did you get the invite Martin?

Wow, well done Martin. I bet your face would have been a picture if she had replied to your question, that she is a member on your web site :-)

I understand the queen is extremely frugal in some respects and gives hell to anyone who leaves a light on when they leave a room.

Any chance of visiting Downing St and giving Gordon some money saving tips ;-)
